In January-April this year, China's passenger car production and sales were 8.105 million units and 8.063 million units, down 7.5 percent and 6.7 percent year on year, respectively.
In April alone, China's passenger car production and sales were 2.197 million units and 2.129 million units, down 2.6 percent and 4.2 percent less year on year, and also decreased by 10.2 percent and 11.7 percent month on month, respectively.
In the first four months of this year, China's passenger vehicle exports totaled 2.716 million units, up 68.8 percent year on year.
In April, China's passenger vehicle exports totaled 796,000 units, up 14.5 percent month-on-month, an increase of 84.6 percent year-on-year.
