MOC: The average price of rebar in China increased by 0.4 percent from May 11 to May 17, 2026

The Chinese Ministry of Commerce (MOC) announced that in the period from May 11 to May 17 this year, the average price of finished steel in China continued its upward trend.

During this period, average prices for welded steel pipes, high-speed wire rod and rebar increased by 0.7%, 0.6% and 0.4% per week, respectively.

Over the same period, average prices for coking coal, thermal coal and smokeless lump coal increased by 2.3%, 0.4% and 0.2% per week, respectively.
