Indian NMDC Limited predicts a 20% increase in iron ore production in May 2026, sales fell by 7%

In May 2026, the Indian state-owned mining company NMDC Limited produced 5.51 million tons of iron ore, which is 19.9% more than in the corresponding month of the previous year, the company said in a statement released on Tuesday, June 2.

The company's sales totaled 4.04 million tons during the month, which is 6.9% less than in May 2025.

In total, in April-May 2026-26, NMDC Limited's iron ore production amounted to 9.96 million tons, which is 9.96% less than in the same period last year.
