Türkiye imposes AD duties on CRC, GI and PPGI from China and South Korea

According to a notice published in the Official Gazette, Turkey's Ministry of Commerce has announced its final decision regarding the anti-dumping investigation into imports of cold-rolled flat products (excluding annealed products), galvanized flat products and color-coated sheet products from China and South Korea.

Investigation covering the period from July 1, 2023 to June 30, 2024 year, concluded that imports of the products in question from China and South Korea were dumped, which caused damage to the domestic industry. As a result, anti-dumping duties, calculated as a percentage of the CIF value, will be imposed for a period of five years from June 16, ranging from 22.37 to 32.40 percent for China and from 10.48 to 27.0 percent for South Korea, depending on the manufacturer/exporter.

Imports of relevant products from China increased from 440,475 tons to year.

The combined share of imports from China and South Korea in Turkey's total imports of related products was 41 percent in 2021, 43 percent in 2022, 52 percent in 2023 and 53 percent during the investigation period.
