According to preliminary data from the US Department of Commerce, imports of cold-rolled coils to the United States in July this year amounted to 55,843 thousand tons, which is 35.9% less than in June and 44.5% less than in July 2025. In value terms, CRC imports in July 2026 amounted to USD 51.1 million, compared to USD 81.3 million in the previous month and USD 97.2 million in 2025.
In July, the United States imported the most CRC from Vietnam - 17,247 tons, compared to the same period last year. up to 14,172 tons in June and 4,795 tons in July 2025. The other largest sources of CRC imports in July were Canada (12,619 tons), the Netherlands (7,233 tons), South Korea (6,629 tons) and Turkey (4,406 tons).
