Jindal Lifestyle Limited (JLL), a subsidiary of Indian stainless steel producer Jindal Stainless Limited, has commissioned a powder coating facility at its plant in Haryana. The company announced the launch on Thursday, November 5.
The facility has an annual capacity of 5,000 tonnes and will expand the range of finishes available for stainless steel products used in metro systems, automotive and infrastructure projects, medical equipment, luggage handling systems and other industrial applications.
The unit uses an automated conveyor, spray technology, nine water tanks and nano pre-treatment chemistry. Its conveyor can handle components of different sizes, allowing JLL to process a wider range of products for mobility and infrastructure applications.
