According to preliminary data from the U.

S. Department of Commerce, imports of rolled steel products to the United States in April 2026 amounted to 36,028 tons, which is 50.3 percent less than in March and 36.7 percent less than in April 2025. In value terms, imports of rolled sheets totaled $25.96 million in April this year, compared with $44.53 million in March and $40.72 million in April 2025.

The United States imported the most sheets in rolls from Canada in April, with 12,806 tons, compared with 11,039 tons in March and 33,436 tons in April last year. The other largest sources of rolled steel imports in April were Germany (5897 tons), the Netherlands (4645 tons) and Vietnam (3246 tons)
