Tosçelik Spiral Pipe, a subsidiary of Tosyalı Holding, has won the tender for the purchase of steel pipes announced by the Turkish national gas supply company BOTAŞ for the LV Yülüce-Pig Şarköy gas pipeline project, according to media reports.
As a result of the tender, Tosçelik Spiral Pipe submitted the most competitive proposal for amount in Turkish lira. 224.2 million (4.78 million US dollars).
The tender was announced as part of BOTAŞ's LV Yülüce – Pig Şarköy gas pipeline project, covering the provinces of Çanakkale and Tekirdağ. The project includes the construction of a 36" steel natural gas pipeline system approximately 17,836 meters long, one 36" hot tap valve, one 12" connection valve and two 36" pig launching/receiving stations.
According to the tender notice previously published by BOTAŞ, the project will use 36" linear pigs. pipes and 36-in. station pipes. will be supplied by the customer, and the contractor will be responsible for the purchase of remaining materials and execution of construction and installation works.
After completion of the tender and completion of legal procedures, the parties are expected to proceed to the contract signing stage.
