The Chinese Ministry of Commerce (MOC) has announced that average prices for finished steel in China will decrease slightly between July 20 and July 26 this year.
During the specified period, all average prices for ordinary rolled products of medium thickness, hot-rolled products, steel products and rebars fell by 0.5%, 0.5% and 0.4% compared to the previous week.
Over the same period, average prices for smokeless coal and thermal coal increased by 0.8 percent and 0.2 percent, respectively, while prices for coking coal decreased by 0.2 percent week-on-week.
