According to the latest data from the General Administration of Customs of China (GACC), in January—August, coal imports of all types into the country amounted to 310.188 million tons. This is 3.4% more than in the same period last year.
In August, China imported 42.092 million tons of coal. The indicator was 1.49% lower than in July and 1.51% less than a year earlier.
