Producer prices in French industry rose 1.7% in September 2026 from August and were up 6.8% year on year, according to data released by France’s National Institute of Statistics and Economic Studies (INSEE).
Prices of manufactured products made in France increased by 1.2% month on month and 5.8% year on year. Import prices for manufactured products rose 1.1% from August and 7.4% year on year.
Export prices for manufactured products climbed 0.8% in September from the previous month and 6.3% year on year. Export prices for transport equipment rose by 0.2% and 3.9%, respectively.
