The Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam reported that he would conduct an anti -dumping investigation regarding the import of cold -rolled stainless steel from China, Malaysia, Indonesia and Taiwan. This decision was made after a complaint of two local manufacturers, VST Posco Co Ltd and Inox Hoa Binh Co. The directives adopted on this issue were signed by Deputy Minister Chan Kuok Han earlier this week.
The plaintiffs said that the steel products of these exporters are sold at much lower prices than local manufacturers can afford. The investigation begun will be carried out in relation to the party of goods imported from April 1, 2012 to March 31, 2013.
Stainless cold steel is already the third product since 2009, on which Vietnam seeks to apply anti -dumping duties, two others are special glass and vegetable oil.
In this situation, many local manufacturers became indignant and protest at the meeting of the Vietnamese Association of Steel, held this week. They indignantly reported that Chinese exporters began to show signs of unhealthy competition in Vietnam. Steel companies said that in particular, mixed Bor was declared for Chinese steel, which allows exporters to use preferential taxation for alloy steel, while the content of the boron is actually very little, only 0.08 percent.
