China is ready to finance Iran metallurgy

The head of the Iranian state mining holding Imidro Mehdi Karbazian said that the China Metallurgical Holding China Metallurgical Group Corporation (MCC) is ready to finance seven Iranian steel production projects. Mehdi Karbazian headed the Iranian delegation, which recently visited China. According to him, representatives of the MSU will arrive in Iran in the very near future to assess the situation and agree on the methods and terms of financing.


Chinese MSS holding is a state corporation investing in various metallurgical, and various metallurgicals, Infrastructure and industrial facilities. Earlier, the Iranian Ministry of Mining Industry signed a memorandum of understanding and expanding cooperation in the Iranian industry from the MSS. From the Iranian side, the document was signed by the Deputy Minister of Industry, mining and trade, Mahmoud Squagsh. On behalf of the MSS, the Memorandum was signed by President Shin Hate.

The memorandum of June 6, 2012 provides for an increase in industrial cooperation between Iran and China three times compared to the current level.
