Emirates will limit steel imports at dumping prices

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) plan to introduce restrictions on the import of the metal distribution of entering the country at dumping prices. It is reported by Yeh Corp.

Until recently, the UAE made every effort to expand the internal production of steel. However, more than 55 percent of steel reinforcement in the Emirates market are represented by cheap imports.

The UAE government is striving to ensure that the grandiose construction and infrastructure projects implemented in the country are in the interests of local industry. According to the message, the metallurgical capacities of the UAE allow us to produce 3.6 million tons of reinforcement, while demand for it is no more than 2.3 million tons.
