The Mariupol Interdistrict Prosecutor's Office had verified compliance with the requirements of the Water Code of Ukraine in the exercise of control powers of the State Azov Marine Ecological Inspectorate, based on the results of which the facts of illegal discharges of harmful substances were established by metallurgical plants of the city into the Kalmius River and the Sea of Azov. This is stated in the message of the prosecutor's office of the Donetsk region.
