Steel production in the Dnipropetrovsk region is growing faster than in China

The growth of steel production in the Dnipropetrovsk region of Ukraine in the first 10 months of this year amounted to 7.1 percent compared to the APPG-2012. In total, from the beginning of 2013 to October inclusive, 9 million 600 thousand tons of raw steel were melted here. In addition, in the region over 10 months, the production of iron ore increased by 9.4 percent, by 16.6 percent of the agglomerate, by 2.6 percent of iron ore concentrate. The growth of production was also noted during the production of metal products - finished rental and semi -finished products in the Dnipropetrovsk region produced in January - October 8 million 400 thousand tons, which is 3.1 percent higher than last year.

The systemic growth of production is demonstrated by Evraz DMZ named after Petrovsky ”, where the production of cast iron over 10 months of 2013 grew by almost 17 percent, became: by 27 percent, ready metal rolling by 24.3 percent, metallurgical coke by 36.5 percent. At PJSC Arselormittal Kryvoy Rog, the production of metal products by 6.1 percent and iron ore increased by 30.6 percent.

Contactly high indicators of pipeline production are demonstrated by NPO Trubolit CJSC (plus 34.6 percent), OJSC Kominmet (plus 17.8 percent) and OJSC Private Production Yukrain (plus 17.6 percent).

It is characteristic that in the welfare of workers - metallurgists, the economic miracle of the Dnepropetrovsk region is in no way reflected. Moreover, a voluntary dismissal program is working on Arselor Mittal Krivoy Rog, and the Interpipe credit rating (the largest manufacturer of steel pipes in Ukraine, the headquarters of the apartment in Dnepropetrovsk) was recently reduced to default.
