The products of Ukrainian Metinvest plants in Russia are sold exclusively by metinvest

If in 2012, part of the products of the Zaporozhstal Communist Party in the amount of 90 thousand tons was delivered to Russia by independent traders, then this year the entire volume of the metal distribution produced at Metinvest plants was exported and sold exclusively by the Metinvest Eurasia company. This achievement was announced by the Director General of Metinvest Eurasia, Roman Rybalov during a speech at the 16th International Conference "The Rosia Metal Market-2013", which takes place these days in Moscow.

By monopolizing export supplies of steel in the Russian Federation, Metinvest managed to achieve sales in this country by 6 percent to 1 million 590 thousand tons.

After "straining" Ukrainian traders, "Metinvest Eurasia" will take up Russian. “All the efforts of Metinvest Eurasia are aimed only at increasing sales efficiency. First of all, by increasing the volume of sales to end consumers. And if in 2013 the share of supplies to the“ Eatics ”will be 52 percent of the total, then for 2014 this ratio will reach 65 percent,” said Mr. Rybalov.

The displacement from the market of independent traders according to the calculations of Metinvest should bring a chronicle of the margin of the margin per ton of the sold metal distribution from 700 rubles in 2009 to 1800 rubles in 2014.

According to Roman Rybalov, the Republic of Belarus will be the next point of the program, where in January 2014 the first wholesale and retail warehouse "Metinvest Belarus" of the Sales Strategy of which will not be an exception and will be aimed at displacing independent traders will begin to work.
