The report said that sales of Korean hot-rolled roll (HRC) have increased significantly in October. Three of the main manufacturer Posco, Hyundai Steel and Dongkuk sold almost one and a half million tons of these products in a month, or rather 1 million 455 thousand tons, which is 7.2 percent higher than in the APPG-2012. The total number of hot -rolled rolls sold in October in the domestic market of Korea increased by 20 percent compared to September.
Only in Hyundai Steel per month, sales volumes on the domestic market increased by 28.1 percent, and 25.6 percent in an annual comparison. Nevertheless, 12.7 percent of the HRC was shipped to the export than in the APPG-2012. However, the total sales increased by 18.1 percent and from the beginning of the year reached 758 thousand tons.
The total export of hot -rolled steel in Korea rolls in October in an annual comparison decreased by 37.5 percent.
