As you know, on November 12-15, the 19th International Exhibition “Metal-Expo'2013” is being held in Moscow.
On the penultimate day, on November 14, in the main conference hall of the Renaissance Hotel, the eighth conference “IT for enterprises: strategic superiority” was held.
It was a representative of the metallurgical Zlatoust plant, the director of S. Pakoyan with an information report. The topic of the report provided: “System for planning and monitoring the execution of orders in production”.
The red line in his speech was the need for proactive actions for the timely shipment of products.
For this, according to him, you should hardly program the required deadlines for each individual operation in the production process. And this is required only at the time of receipt of the order from the client, but no later.
It is extremely important to collect operational data on the characteristics of raw materials and stages of production. And only then to immediately introduce the adjusted and existing other documents.
In addition, in the process of launching the information system, it was necessary to face the need to develop step -by -step actions. Only in this way, entering the data obtained from the moment of unloading of raw materials from the warehouse to the final stage of production - smelting, it is possible to control the final deadline for execution of the order.
Sergei Papoyan today also told how the introduction of such a planned-control system was carried out. And in the end, he reported on the results that the plant received in the end.
And they are impressive. The deadline for finding materials in warehouses has decreased. The duration of the production process was reduced. And as a result, the percentage of timely shipped orders was significantly increased.
The percentage of timely orders increased in Zlatoust
