Revenue from export of ferrous metallurgy products of Ukraine in September fell by six percent

In September 2013, the metallurgical enterprises of Ukraine reduced the revenue from the export of ferrous metallurgy products by 6.2 percent compared to APPG-2012 to 1 billion 425 million US dollars. This is stated in the message of the State Statistics Service of Ukraine.

At the same time, Ukraine’s costs on the import of metal products in September this year decreased by 6.5 percent to 417 million 800 thousand US dollars by 6.5 percent.

For nine months since the beginning of 2013, Ukraine has reduced export revenue from the trade in ferrous metallurgy products compared to APG 2012 by 9.6 percent to 13 billion 315 million dollars. At the same time, the import of metal products cost Ukraine in January - September 2013 by 2.1 percent less than in the same period last year - 1 billion 750 million US dollars.

According to the State Statistics Service of Ukraine in the section on non -ferrous metals, the export of copper for nine months of 2013 in monetary terms amounted to 128 million 900 thousand dollars, which compared to the same period in 2012 is less than 4.4 percent, and the imports of copper were reduced by 2.6 percent to 120 million 200 thousand dollars. In addition, income from aluminum export in January - September 2013 The years decreased in an annual comparison by 4.7 percent to 104 million 600 thousand dollars, and the costs of winged metal imports increased by 0.2 percent and reached 384 million 400 thousand US dollars.

According to the results of 9 months of 2013, the share of metals and metal products in the total volume of Ukrainian exports was 28.8 percent.

Recall that last year Ukraine reduced the export of ferrous metallurgy products by 17 percent - to 15 billion 300 million dollars, while the cost of imported ferrous metals decreased by 17.2 percent - to 2 billion 300 million US dollars.
