Ukrainian iron ore exports grew by 9 percent

For the period from January to October of the current year in Ukraine, iron ore exports increased by 9 percent and in annual calculus and amounted to 32 million 100 thousand tons, according to the Ukrainian Association of the Metallurgprom metal manufacturer. The export of iron ore raw materials from Ukraine in October increased by 17.2 percent compared to September, reaching 3 million 400 thousand tons.

In January - October of this year, the Ukrainian import of iron ore raw materials increased by eight percent in annual calculus and amounted to 2 million 310 thousand tons. In October 2013, Ukraine imported 35.3 percent of iron ore more than in the previous month, increasing it to 230 thousand tons.
