However, the September volumes of production became still 8.9 percent higher than in the APPG-2012 (7 million 233 thousand 375 tons).
In nine months since the beginning of 2013, steel production in the United States has decreased by 2.4 percent from 73 million 638 thousand 127 tons in 2012 to 71 million 898 thousand 807 tons this year.
In the structure of sales of metal products in the United States, according to the AISI report, in September 2013 the following changes occurred: a galvanized strip and a sheet lost 4 percent, a hot -rolled sheet - 5 percent and cold -rolled steel also 5 percent.
