According to data published by the Association of Turkish manufacturers of steel (TCUD), steel production in the country amounted to 3 million 80 thousand tons, which is 6.9 percent more than in the APPG-2012 and is the highest indicator this year.
In January - October 2013, steel production in Turkey decreased by 3.8 percent in an annual comparison and reached 28 million 900 thousand tons. At the same time, the production of finished metal rolling increased by 4.8 percent, while its consumption increased by 8.6 percent.
Over 10 months of 2013, the production of long rental in Turkey reached 19 million 670 thousand tons, increasing 3.7 percent compared to APP.
