Mechel will remove the claim to the Chrysostuzti Metzurvyvod

Mechel will "forgive" the goldmaker (ZMZ) 1.2 billion rubles of debt, and the Uralvagonzavod in the person of the Red October plant will become the new owner of the enterprise. Such a statement was made by the Governor of the Chelyabinsk Region Mikhail Yurevich following the results of a working meeting with the General Director of the Mechel Group Evgeny Michelm.

Red October does not object to the expansion of a new asset, and is ready to continue the production activities of the ZMZ in the very near future.

“For this, you will need to get a lot of permits, and the government of the Chelyabinsk region will provide all the necessary assistance. I hope that the procedure for changing management will be held quickly enough,” Mikhail Yurevich said.

Recall that the metallurgical plant in Zlatoust has been stopped from November 1 of the current year and two -thirds of the team are today in forced leave.
