In September 2013, according to the data published by the Ministry of Finance of Japan, the export of scrap metal from this country amounted to 509 thousand 127 tons, which is 21 percent less than in the previous month and by 19.2 percent - than in the APPG -2012.
In September of this year, Japanese export of metal scrap to South Korea compared to September 2012 decreased by 39 percent to 252 thousand 25 tons, while in China it grew by 3.3 percent to 190 thousand tons.
Meanwhile, over the nine months of 2013, scrap scrap exports are still 4.8 percent higher than the indicators of APG and amounts to 6 million 500 thousand tons.
