The Prime Minister of Ukraine Nikolai Azarov made a sharp statement regarding the media that has been extended in the media about the agreements reached between Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Ukrainian imptile Viktor Yanukovych during Sochi negotiations on December 6, 2013.
Recall that a number of Ukrainian and foreign Internet agencies such as The Economist and the Russian "Vedomosti" announced the achievement of a fundamental agreement between the two heads of state on the entry of Ukraine to the Customs Union of Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan. The agreement on the accession of Ukraine to the TS will be held to the next presidential election in Ukraine, that is, in 2014. In addition, the parties reached agreements on the provision of a loan of $ 5 billion and a review of gas prices.
“I want to emphasize that not a single document for yesterday’s negotiations was being prepared for signing and, of course, not a single document was signed. And the issue of the Customs Union yesterday at the meeting of the presidents of Ukraine and Russia was not discussed at all. I categorically refute rumors and speculation on this topic,” the statement of Nikolai Azarov said.
According to the Prime Minister of Ukraine, Sochi discussed issues related to industrial cooperation between Ukraine and Russia.
“This is the problem that we constantly pay great attention and the solution of which is already nearing completion. These are, in particular, issues of work, cooperation of our leading engineering enterprises in the nuclear and aviation spheres,” Azarov emphasized.
