Today it became known that the Russian group Evraz agreed on the transfer of a steel plant in the Czech Republic of Vítkovice Steel to the Russian Vnesheconombank. The bank will finance the production activities of the enterprise until the arrival of the new investor. This was reported by the television channel of the Czech Republic ST-24.
The press attache of Euraz has not yet confirmed the information about the conclusion of the transaction. It is expected that this week this information will be published in official sources after all legal issues are settled. Recall that Evraz reported the intention to sell Vítkovice Steel until the end of this year.
One of the applicants for the purchase of the plant already from Vnesheconombank is Trojek Group, which is owned by the Ostrav Magnat Zdenek Troek. In addition to him, the interest in the purchase of this industrial facility is shown by Prague businessman Martin ulchak and the Ukrainian Group of Companies of the ISD.
