A review of the analytical agency of Moody 'S Investors Service published today, Asian manufacturers, the profit of the Asian manufacturers will remain at a record low level next year. “Prospects for Asian metallurgical and mining industries for 2014 are negative. The forecast reflects our expectations that the profit of manufacturers will remain at a historically low level in 2014 against the background of overproduction and slowdown in demand, ”the Moody 'S review says.
Analysts see an increase in demand for steel in Asia by 2 to 3 percent in 2014, since the Government of the PRC has reconciled with a slower increase in GDP and focuses on domestic consumption, moving away from an increase in infrastructure expenses.
Decisive changes could occur with a reduction in excessive and ineffective metallurgical capacities, however, according to Moody 'S, they are currently only declarative, maintaining uncertainty regarding the timing and scale of reduction of capacities.
