Tata Steel produces new electrical steel to increase the efficiency of electric power industry

The ORB Tata Steel plant now gets a hot -rolled strip manufactured according to the patented process at the steel plant of the company in IJMuiden in the Netherlands. New varieties-M080-23DR, M085-23DR, M090-27DR and M095-27DR-satisfy all the requirements, allowing the use of highly effective steels in transformers used in energy transmission networks.

In addition, Cogent Power has invested the creation of a new steel production line for transformers at its large Canadian plant in Berlington in Ontario to satisfy the needs of large power transformers in North America.
