ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih shipped the first thousand tons from its service metal center in the village of Volnoe

The first thousand tons were shipped in January 2014 from the ArcelorMittal steel warehouse in Ukraine located in the village of Volnoe, Kryvyi Rih region. This site has become the third own metal center of the company opened in our country over the past two years.

“The warehouse in the Krivoy Rog region is the largest wholesale and retail service metal center of ArcelorMittal in Ukraine and can hold up to 15 thousand tons of metal products,” the press service of the company told us. The previously opened warehouses of Kryvyi Rih metal rolling in Odessa and Kiev were targeted at consumers from these regions, while the warehouse for metal products in the village of Volnoe will become a logistics center for deliveries throughout Ukraine.

“We simultaneously solve several important tasks: we reduce the time of delivery of metal products to customers, reduce the cost of transportation, effectively use our own resources in sales on the domestic market,” says Anastasia Tatarulieva, Sales Director for Ukraine and the CIS countries.

ArcelorMittal considers the company's trading partners as the most important distribution channel for its products, and direct sales of rolled metal from its own warehouses is an effective addition to the sales strategy. As a reminder, in the first half of 2014, PJSC ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih plans to open three more of its own wholesale and retail service metal centers in different regions of Ukraine.
