Ukraine can refuse to return the Russian loan?

The deputy from the parliamentary faction Batkivshchyna Oleksandr Briginets, who previously reported that Yanukovych was hiding in the bunker of a monastery near Donetsk, said that Ukraine did not plan to give the Russian loan received by the Yanukovych government. He told about this to Pravda.ru

“Russia has never provided financial assistance to Ukraine. The question of how to pay is for Yanukovych, ”said the Ukrainian parliamentarian.

Meanwhile, according to Deputy Finance Minister Sergei Storchak, Russia will not default on Ukraine's debt obligations.

“Naturally, we are not going to declare a default, this is already very important for the debtor himself,” he said.

The Deputy Minister added that “we hope that in credit relations with the Russian Federation the borrower (Ukraine - ed.) Will constantly remember the need to maintain a high level of his credit history”.
