The Northeast Steel Company is helping to release the latest version of the famous agricultural vehicle. Tata Steel has teamed up with JCB Landpower to create the most productive new generation of tractors.
Using innovative design and engineering techniques by Tata Steel at its Skinningrove facility in east Cleveland, the next generation of JCB Fastracs has been reduced in weight. The new machines are much more fuel efficient and capable of handling heavy loads while maintaining the durability required by farmers around the world. These tractors will be easier and safer to operate than previous models.
Steel produced by Tata Steel in Scunthorpe will be provided for further processing by the firm's team at Skinningrove, where doosan daewoo excavator . A tripartite partnership involving Tata Steel, JCB Landpower and GKN, the current manufacturer of Fastrac 4000 tractor parts, has been formed to enhance the vehicle on display at the Agricultural Machinery Show in Hannover, Germany.
Thanks to the scientific system of engineering tools from Tata Steel, the specialists have also developed a lightweight and very durable undercarriage.
