MK Zaporizhstal, following the principles of corporate social responsibility of the Metinvest Group, consistently improves the social and living conditions in production for its employees. The budget for these purposes in 2014 is UAH 12 million.
The Zaporizhstal Mill is implementing a Program to Improve Working Life (hereinafter referred to as the Program) in order to increase the level of production culture, labor productivity and create additional motivation for the company's employees.
“We are faced with a specific task to increase the level of social and living conditions for the employees of the plant, so that people feel comfort and satisfaction from work, love their workplace,” stressed Rostislav Shurma, General Director of Zaporizhstal Iron and Steel Works.
In 2014, the Program provides for repairs, reconstruction and modernization of utility rooms, canteens, rest rooms, shift-meeting rooms of the plant's production workshops, with a total area of 7 thousand square meters. m. For their arrangement, new furniture and modern equipment will also be purchased.
