According to the company, in March 2014, Tata Steel recorded a record steel production in the 2013-2014 fiscal year, reaching 9.15 million tons, which is 12.55 percent more than in the previous fiscal year.
At the same time, the output of finished rolled products at Tata Steel plants amounted to 9.9 million tons, which is 11.74 percent higher than in the previous period.
Tata Steel expects steel demand to rise between 1.2 and 1.3 percent this year.
