Hyundai Steel receives export orders from UAE

The Korean company Hyundai Steel, after its belated entry into the steel plate market at the beginning of the year, is receiving many orders for its overseas projects. The steel company announced this month that it plans to supply 25,000 tonnes of steel products by June 30, 2014, including 12,000 tonnes of steel plates, for the Satah Al Razboot (SARB) project for government orders from the United Arab Emirates.

The SARB project, led by Hyundai Engineering, provides for the construction and construction of oil platforms, bridges and structures for large-scale oil fields.
