Russian steel mills are likely to raise their rebar prices for the May bids. Domestic rebar manufacturers are considering increasing domestic prices from 1 to 1.52 percent over the previous month.
Industry sources report that imports of these products have declined. At the same time, the stock market declined to 10 percent from 21 percent last year. Imports of rebar from Ukraine in January amounted to 77,800 tons, down 65 percent compared to the corresponding month last year.
