MMK expanded its product line with a new coating

Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works (MMK) recently announced the development of a new technology for the production of galvanil (zinc /iron) coated metal products. This is a strategic step that will allow MMK to expand its product range and more efficiently meet the requirements of its customers.

The coating was developed after MMK launched its second addition to the cold-rolled facility at Mill 11, Ural Business Consulting reported.
The new coating has improved anti-corrosion and welding properties. In addition, the new coating surface improves product quality to the highest level. The coating will primarily be used in the automotive industry.
