Interpipe, a metallurgical company specializing in the production of pipes and wheels for rail transport, has appointed Jorge Manuel Barroso as Vice President of Sales for the Americas and Rami Mahmoud as Vice President of Sales for the Middle East and Africa.
These executives will be responsible for developing and implementing the sales and marketing strategy in their regions, helping to increase market share and maintaining relationships with key customers in the regions. Both top managers have already taken up their duties.
The appointed executives have many years of experience in the pipe business, including serving as sales directors for global companies. Strengthening the sales team with such experienced managers will open up additional growth opportunities in the strategic MENA and NAFTA regions, and will contribute to a new stage of development.

Prior to joining Interpipe, Rami Mahmoud held the position of Head of the Middle East Department at Victaulic (the largest manufacturer of piping systems and connections). He holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Jordan.
