TMK supplied large-diameter pipes for large customers

Pipe Metallurgical Company, one of the world's leading suppliers of pipe products to the oil and gas industry, has shipped large-diameter pipes made at its Volzhsky Pipe Plant for Gazprom, which is building the Bovanenkovo-Ukhta pipeline.

Within the framework of the project, from March to April 2014, TMK shipped about 30,000 tons of longitudinal welded pipes with a diameter of 1420 mm, with a wall thickness of 27.7 mm and 23 mm, a three-layer outer PE coating and an anti-friction inner coating.

For external coating of pipes, according to the customer's request, a material of domestic production is used as anti-corrosion protection. The inner coating, designed to create the smoothness of the walls, is applied in compliance with special operating modes of paint pressure and heating temperature.

Looking ahead, TMK plans to supply a total of 45,000 tonnes of large diameter pipes to meet Gazprom's order for the construction of the Bovanenkovo-Ukhta gas transmission system.
TMK is working to create long-term and stable relationships with many large Russian and foreign oil and gas companies. As part of this strategy, an agreement was signed with Yamal LNG, which is designed for the period from 2014 to 2020.

The total supply will reach 48,000 tons. The supply of tubing and casing pipes with premium connections is already being carried out by the Taganrog Metallurgical and Seversky Pipe Plants. Long-term ties with Yamal LNG indicate the high quality of TMK's premium pipe products used for the development of oil and gas fields.
