EVRAZ delivered the first delivery of 100 meter Russian-made rails to Russian Railways

The first batch of 100 meter rails with hardened head R65 DT-350 manufactured by EVRAZ ZSMK was sent to the Russian Railways (RZD). EVRAZ is the only company in Russia and the CIS, and only the third in the world, to launch the production and supply of this innovative product. EVRAZ also produces high-quality long products which are in high demand among construction companies.

This delivery of 100 meter EVRAZ rails is intended for the Oktyabrskaya Railway, which is part of the railway infrastructure of the North and West of Russia and includes the high-speed connecting railways Moscow and St. Petersburg, and St. Petersburg and Helsinki. Earlier, Russian Railways bought from abroad the rails necessary for its high-speed railways, which involve movement at a speed of 160 to 200 kilometers per hour.

To this end, the rails have successfully passed laboratory tests and an experimental delivery of these rails for testing in Shcherbinka (Russian Railways loop test) has already been completed. "
