Australian company reveals high reserves of copper and gold deposit in Kyrgyzstan

White Cliff Minerals, an Australian mineral exploration company, has experienced a strong uptick in its shares following strong performance from the high quality copper and gold exploration program of the Chanakh project in Kyrgyzstan.

The company's program is aimed at discovering gold and expanding the production of high-quality copper, identified in 2013. Drilling will begin in early August to test the mineralization potential at depth. Chanakh is a very promising region with 93 million ounces of gold and 25 million tons of copper within 100 km.

The project is located in the western part of the Tien Shan belt, within a highly mineralized zone, more than 2500 km long from western Uzbekistan, through Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, southern Kazakhstan up to western China.

Drilling has already identified several areas containing up to 2.1 percent copper and 1–2 percent gold, while rock samples have identified up to 5 percent copper and 40 g /t gold over a large mineralized area. White Cliff submitted 585 samples, analysis results have already been obtained for 364 samples. Another 189 samples have been collected and will be sent to the laboratory in the near future.

The high level of gold and copper in the ore at the surface is an exceptional discovery and demonstrates the significant potential of the project. ”

He added: "The team has already completed 8 trenches, ranging from 50 to 100 meters, and copper mineralization has been determined in most of them."
