EVRAZ North America presents the new premium connection EVRlock

EVRAZ North America, a subsidiary of the world's largest steel and mining company EVRAZ, announces its new brand of EVRlock connections. The company has been successfully using the QB2 connection since the late 1990s and has now expanded its product line with the EVRlock QB1-HT connection.

EVRAZ manufactures flat, long and tubular steel products for major markets including infrastructure, energy and railways. The EVRlock QB1-HT is ideal for high torque applications such as long, difficult to access horizontal drilling. An added benefit is the structural strength that resists galling of the threads and retains its compressive and tensile strength.

The company said that with 20 years of successful experience with gas tight gaskets, it is safe to say that the EVRlock QB2 connection is ideal for oil recovery and growing shale fields. EVRlock can be used in a variety of wall thicknesses and pipe grades in a full range of sizes from 4-1 /2 to 10-3 /4 outside diameters.
