Tata Steel expands its services in the UK

Ian Beveridge, Tata Steel's Director of Building Structures, said that the establishment of the TEESSIDE service center is the company's main agenda in providing customers with a new level of service. He also added that the company provided an opportunity for customers to purchase products from the warehouse for further processing.

The Teesside Service Center is the only center in the area adjacent to the UK manufacturing facility. The center that processes steel profiles and is supported by the nearby Teesside beam mill in Redcar. The center has received orders for construction projects including hospitals, sports complexes and new schools.

Ian Beveridge also states that the company can deliver products with high efficiency and speed of operation, as measures are taken to organize and provide special processing methods and technologies for the use of machines. He also believes Teesside will become the UK's largest steel distribution and processing service center. Tata Steel has invested approximately £ 8.5 million in the Teesside service center and expects this will allow the company to increase its production capacity by 170,000 tonnes and meet customer requirements.

The Tata facility in Redcar in the UK was established in 2012. Since then, the facility has been improved and new processing methods and equipment systems have been introduced. New access roads have been built in the region. The introduction of innovative equipment has provided savings in production time and costs. The center is also involved in the management and distribution of Tata Steel from North Lincolnshire bar mills, Scunthrope and pipes from Northampton and Corby.
