ArcelorMittal celebrates 10 years of operation in Ukraine

October 28, 2015 marks the 10th anniversary of the signing of the Sale and Purchase Agreement for the controlling stake in Kryvorizhstal OJSC and the arrival of the new owner - ArcelorMittal (in 2005 - Mittal Steel) at the enterprise. During the sale, the state received UAH 24 billion 200 million, which was more than 70% of all foreign investments received in Ukraine for all the years of the country's independence.

ArcelorMittal is a global leader in the metals and mining industry. ArcelorMittal, which employs 222 thousand people, has offices in 60 countries of the world on 4 continents. About 38% of the company's steel is produced in America, 46% in Europe and 16% in other regions, including Kazakhstan, South Africa and Ukraine. ArcelorMittal products are used in Ukraine in many areas, including for the production of metal tiles and corrugated board, so roofing materials and Khmelnitsky gutters have already been evaluated by dignity in this region.

The transparent privatization of a mining and metallurgical enterprise in Krivoy Rog was the largest investment in Ukraine.
