Outokumpu expands production in North Carolina

Finnish company Outokumpu has expanded the production capacity of its stainless steel reinforcing bar mill in Richburg, South Carolina.

The new lines will enable Outokumpu to better serve its end users in key segments including the automotive, aerospace, oil and gas, construction and chemical processing industries in the North American market. The investment increases Outokumpu's stainless steel production capacity by more than 15,000 tonnes per year.
