MMK, a Russian steel group, reported that it increased sales and production of steel products in the second quarter and first half of 2017. In the second quarter, the company's crude steel production increased by 3.8% to 3.18 million tonnes compared to the same period last year.
In the second quarter of this year, shipments of finished steel products by MMK increased by 5.9% to 2.88 million tonnes compared to the previous quarter.
At the same time, in the first six months of this year, MMK's steel production reached 6.25 million tonnes, up 0.6% over the same period last year.
