ArcelorMittal is investing around € 100 million in its factories in France. This is another step to increase the number of high value-added products.
The company will invest 67 million euros in a new steel line for the automotive industry in Florange. It is one of three factories located in the Lorraine region where ArcelorMittal has established a product center for the automotive segment. New investments will go to the creation of a line for the production of three types of high-strength Usibor steels with a capacity of 600 thousand tons per year. The line is scheduled to start operating in mid-2019.
