According to the US Department of Commerce, US iron ore exports in June totaled 1 million 91 270 tons, an increase of 44.4% over the same period last year.
Meanwhile, the country's iron ore exports totaled 4,258,748 tons in the first half of 2017, an increase of 36.5% over the same period in 2016. Moreover, US imports of iron ore totaled 3,151,669 tonnes in the first six months of 2017, up 124.8% from last year.
