Azovstal in 11 months increased production of rolled products by 13.2%

The Azovstal metallurgical plant (Mariupol, Donetsk region) in January-November 2017 increased the production of general rolled products, according to operational data, by 13.2% compared to the same period in 2016 - up to 3.499 million tons.

As the representative of the enterprise informed the agency "Interfax-Ukraine", steel smelting for 11 months increased by 15.3% - up to 3.946 million tons, pig iron - by 18.1%, up to 3.466 million tons.

In November, Azovstal produced 354 thousand tons of general rolled products, 378 thousand tons of steel, 345 thousand tons of pig iron, while in the previous month - 367 thousand tons of rolled products, 403 thousand tons of steel, 355 thousand tons of pig iron.

As reported, Azovstal in 2016 increased the production of general rolled products by 14.8% compared to 2015 - up to 3.335 million tons, steel - by 15.6%, to 3.705 million tons, pig iron - by 12.5%. up to 3.177 million tons.
