The next two stages of repairs, scheduled for December, provide for the replacement of cable and wire products on the drives of the travel bogies and the crane bridge, replacement of the main drive gearboxes, revision of brake systems and gearboxes of the axles and bogies drives.
The contractors Metinvest-Promservice LLC and Smetsmetalurgmontazh were involved in the repair. The cost of investments in major repairs is UAH 10,000,000.
Reference: Foundry crane No. 27 is designed to transfer ladles with metal from a steel truck to a ladle furnace No. 1 for further out-of-furnace steel processing. Commissioned in 1982.
